My wife and I and our youngest son took a road trip to Butte Montana to visit Fr. Russel Radoicich and his family.  Fr. Russel, a Fresno native, managed a local Starbucks and was an assistant priest at St Peter the Apostle Serbian Orthodox Church here in Fresno (the church I attend)  up until about a year of so ago when the Bishop of the Western Diocese of the Serbian Orthodox Church, Maxim, installed him as the parish priest of the Serbian Orthodox Church in Butte.

We had a GREAT TIME and I wish we could have stayed longer.  Butte has such a rich and intriguing history, which I will say more about in another blog – but for now I feel compelled to just say SOMETHING because I have been away from the computer for so long.
