…or maybe a pachyderm with donkey ears. either way i just made this logo to represent my political affiliation. i have always been registered as a republican but im not a “far right winger”, much the same way that im a Christian and consider myself to be conservative, but Christians on the “far right” tend to scare me.

the Bush administration has done its fair share of undermining my faith in the republican party. i hate to admit it, but when Collin Powell testified before congress about the Iraqis having WMDs, in particular, biological weapons, i swallowed it and everything else he and this administration said, hook, line, and sinker.

looking back i believe i was a victim of political propaganda. of course, i was not alone, but that’s little consolation. the fact that i was so gullible is a bit unnerving. from now on i want my big “jackass ears” to be standing up real tall.
