This isn’t breaking news, but the other day (Dec 12) Alliance Title Company who’s slogan was Closing The California Dream ironically announced the closing of more than 200 offices statewide and with that around 2000 employees lost their jobs and a lot folks were caught in escrow limbo, well maybe not a lot, with the dearth of transactions out there, but certainly some. No doubt they will be taken care of by the Survivors.

As a footnote, I do recall having problems with them several years ago. For some reason they held up my commission check. They finally got it done, but not without a lot of hootin’ and hollerin’.

I’m not rejoicing at their downfall, just commenting. I hope that when all the shaking is done, I’m still standing.
