First off, let me say that I KNOW that this is the day of Nationwide Tea Parties and that I’m quite sympathetic of those who will be protesting and would perhaps myself be counted amongst them if it were not for today ALSO being Great and Holy Wednesday (for those of us who are Orthodox Christians).

No doubt the libs will characterize those who are PARTYING as right-wing nutjobs, conspiracy theororist, members of a tinfoil hat brigade:  Domestic Terrorist that post a threat to national security.

From what I have observed so far– the “tempest in the teacup” is steaming but is disorganized and lacking in leadership and clearly defined goals.  That being the case, the sidelines may just be the best place to be.

I might add that the conservatives need to give Obama a chance and credit when credit is due.  I have come to despise the right wing talking heads: Limbaugh, Hannity, Coulter, Levine, et,all.  For these folks, Obama can do NOTHING right.  Controversy is their livelihood.

Incidentally, if you’re first time reader of my blog I am not ashamed to inform you of my political persuasion: I’m a PONKEYDERM.
