I have to point out something about this video that I missed the first time I watched it.Watch carefully at 1:20 into the video right after he says “I always prep for an open the same way everytime” and you will see an an Orthodox priest come through the door in the background with a censor. I would assume that he has requested a priest to come and do a blessing on the open house…lol … which is toooo funny.
Incidentally, your’s truly is an Orthodox Christian. I have been a Christian since the age of 18 and entered the Orthodox Church about 12 years ago. I was baptized in the Orthodox Church on Lazarus Saturday; the Saturday just before Palm Sunday, at which time my priest, Father George, gave me the Christian name of Lazarus. The story of my pathway into the Orthodox Church is a long one and won’t go into right now.
My parish is St Peter the Apostle Serbian Orthodox Church. In case you’re wondering —— NO, i am NOT Serbian. My last name (McAtee) is Irish but there’s no pure pedigree here.

Sorry Kum Randy, that is not an Orthodox priest doing the house blessing. He is a Roman Catholic. If you look closely you will see a hat worn by catholic priests pre-Vatican II, and a latin rite censer.
